I see at least five things I would buy as I am a collector. However, tag sale folks just do not want to spend money for anything, regardless of what it's value or worth is for real.
Maybe your prices are too high.
You may want to consider placing your things in a consignment shop. Most will give you 60% of the sale while they keep 40%. Better than tag sale prices, for sure.
I inherited so many things from my 93 and 94 year old aunts...some things were their grandmother's belongings, so we are talking about genuine antiques and glassware/china from the 1800's. People want this stuff, but they do not want to pay for it.
Going the e-bay route is a pain in theass. It takes time to securely wrap and send anything in the mail and that is after paying e-bay fees and paypal fees, plus postage/insurance fees. Then you have to deal with cranky customers, feedback and maintain an on-line reputation. It is exhausting, especially if you have a job and or family.
I say go with consignment shops. Or, begin gifting your things to your friends with whom you know will enjoy receiving what you have.
