Anyone own/have owned a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica? Thoughts?

Looking at buying a used one with about 58K miles...a little leery of complaints online about hard shifting with the transmission becoming an issue.

Anyone own a higher-mileage Pacifica?

They have the same 9-speed automatic transmission as the Jeep Cherokee which had problems in the 2014-2016 model years and Chrysler came out with a recall to replace the valve body wiring harness because the pins weren't crimped right for the range sensor on some. I have had a Pacifica with a hard shifting concern. The customer said it felt like someone rear ended them that it was so hard. A new valve body and harness fixed this problem although I never reproduced the problem in the first place. Most of the shifting concerns now are just software related and a flash and relearn procedure fixes them. The 9 speed is an odd transmission and has a different feel because it has a couple of dog clutches which are like synchronizers and some customers will just never get use to it and they'll always keep coming back to fix a problem that isn't there. Go on a test drive with them and they'll just feather the accelerator trying to make it shift hard.

Mopar has gone to total crap with horrible warranty service since they were purchased by FIAT corp.

that is pretty high mileage. the average for that year's vehicle should be half of that mileage.
