Is Elmer s Glue-all Max good to use in aquariums?
- InLv 77 months ago
No. Buy clear silicone caulk specifically rated for use in aquariums at your pet supply store. DO NOT substitute clear silicone caulk from a home improvement store since it will kill the fish.

Would not work and might kill fish. If you use silicone it should be the kind that cures with vinegar. They sell it for aquariums.

I don't specifically know Elmer's but most glues, even good ones, are not suitable for continuous submersion. You need a glue specifically for that purpose.

You need to use 100% silicone sealant and it has to "air cure" for 7 days!

Nope, it is not suitable for that application.
