Brass rod in case of squib. I learned from experience years ago that a squib will ruin a range session. I also carry a small bottle of 2 stroke oil to lube the bore of the barrel for squib removal. Lots of rags or shop towels. Screwdriver set, gun cleaning gear, flashlight, 2 packets of quick-clot, assorted bandaids and a couple triangle bandages, masking tape to tape holes in targets so I can shoot them more than once, spotting scope, hammer, both deadblow and ball-peen, Zeiss lens wipes, 1 gallon canteen, granola bars or energy bars, batteries for scopes, optics, flashlight etc, notebook and pen, 2 sets of hearing protection, extra eye protection, gloves, gallon ziplock bag for empty brass, hand sanitizer, jewelers files in a small roll, ammo of course, staple gun , staples, advil, antacid, sometimes I carry a small radio with me if I'm going to be there all day.
