    Meat is muscle, and insects must have muscles to move - its just that their muscles are inside their external skeleton rather than outside their internal skeleton. ... So, Insects are considered meat. Search up bug meat as an alternative. In Thailand and certain other countries, they eat insects

    Yes they are , meat is from a animal , so insects are meat , they do not have bones but exoskeletons which is why some people say insects are not animals , but insects are animals that are part of a group called invertebrates, thus making them meat.

    Yes, I have seen deep fried Grasshoppers for sale on the streets of Bangkok before. There are companies now selling insect snacks in the western world and apparently they can be quite tasty. Some predict that insect meals will become more common in the future.

    They just have the bones on the outside.

    Though crabs are not insects... they have the same sort of composition with an exoskeleton and flesh contained within.

    I suppose, just not very meaty. Mosquitoes actually don't taste all that bad (if they try to eat me when my hands are full, I tend to eat them instead).
