    Yes, and I'd probably take something along to share, maybe a potato salad or some slaw.

    Yes, I would go with my favorite dish of food to share. BUT, I would only eat what I brought because I am a bit skeptical to eat food from strangers as I am unsure how clean their kitchen and food handling practices are. I am in no way a picky eater or a germaphobic, but food in a large community event leaves too much room for food borne illness possibilities. Besides, I go places to meet the people, not necessarily solely for the food.

    No. What others eat scare me -- cheap burnt hamburgers, cheap "steaks" covered with BBQ sauce to cover mistakes.
