This disaster takes families and homes,
This event will break hearts and move people,
War turns the world into monochrome,
Crossing the shared border is illegal,

From the dangerous wolves we needed to hide,
The feed on our terror and gain power,
They have ruined once happy lives statewide,
The wounds in the heart worsen by the hour,

All this loss lead us to a new, free life,
At least we aren’t under the knife.
