You are 88 more times likely to die in a vehicle accident then you are to be killed in a mass shooting. Actually Mass shooting take up less then 0.01% of all gun related homicides.

I am afraid your correct, but is never going to happen. It is that old attitude it Ain't Going to Happen to ME! Also the most used weapon for murder is the human hand, plus how many people are killed by their own bath tub. I had a neighbor that ran over himself, getting out of the car to move the trash can and left the car in drive. In many cases people are just plain idiots!

5000 children die in backyard pools each year
if liberal really cared for the children, why won't they ban them?
but of course we know liberals don't care for children, thats why they want to murder 900,000 unborn babies each year
thats why 100% of democrats voted against the state childrens health insurance program

Purpose of a pool: recreation
Purpose of a gun: kill things
You don't have to think hard to see why guns are a problem

Why not just ban water since the water is to blame.

Pools have other uses. And, there are regulations - you've got to fence it off , get extra liability insurance etc. Most guns have no other use than to kill humans
But, if you're suggesting some extra regs - I'd be up for that.

Again with stupid comparisons. How many people hours are spent using guns and how many are spent in or around pools including young children?

Be a responsible pool owner and parent just like you need to be a responsible gun owner.
Put a fence with lockable gate around the pool and never allow unattended children inside the fenced in area without a responsible adult monitoring their activities.

50,000+ people died by swimming pools last year? That's the amount that died last year due to gun violence
