Yes, I had 2 horses; A Quarter Maier, named Poco Bueno, and a Arabian Gelding. named Choya.
Poco was more work than Choya; as, she would always go in her stall, and I would have too clean her stall out, every week, all the way to the dirt floor, and replace the sawdust.
Choya, however, never went in his stall, and would always go in the corral, which was a lot easier too clean up; but, If I didn't keep his corral fence painted and creasilled, he would have chewed his way out, as the fence was wood.
Yes, horses are a lot of work; but, they return your efforts with affection, and hours of, not just fun, but a little beyond that. Much the same pleasure that I got from riding my 53 Pan Head over Angeles Crest Highway.
Only difference was, My Harley's exhaust was Carbon Monoxide, whereas, our horses were Methane and Road Apples.
They may be expensive, but, worth every Franklin, and Jackson you spend. I can say the same for my Iron Horse.
