Depends on who you are.For me, I always love to learn new things. I went to a great university not only to learn, but also for the whole experience, living in the dorm, developing as a young adult.
If I'd gone later in life, it would probably be to advance on the job, and I'd be at a commuter school.
People who don't get degrees are a widely varied demographic. Some have low wage jobs, some are in fields like sales, or in trades. Then there are amazingly successful people who never went to college at all. Usually they're either entrepreneurs or in entertainment. They tend to be very focused on their goals, willing to work hard,bet on themselves and unlike most people, don't follow the crowd.
