no, although its funny, i asked something similar about a week ago and didnt get a good answer. my girlfriend is totally a moviephile and knows all the weird facts. she was talking about most recent occurances of black-face, like robert downey jr. in tropic thunder. she was also talking about yellow-face and red-face.
i asked if there was something like this where a straight person plays a gay role. to this she said that gay people more frequently play straight roles.
but what about someone walking person playing a parapalegic, or a sighted person playing a blind person, or a hearing person playing a deaf person. wouldnt these be offensive.
the real problem with lgbt portrayal in films and tv is that they tend to be unrealistic and often just for laughs. granted, its far better than it was 10 years ago, or even 20 years ago. but i think if its a movie about elton johns life and elton john is participating in making the film, its going to be real.
note: this is really a writer problem and not an actor problem.
