Why are westerners embracing far-right agitators with nothing to offer but finger pointing instead of seeking substantive solutions?

They are pushing Neocolonalism as the right thing to do.

Populists offer easy solutions to difficult problems, that makes them attractive. The world is a complex place and often these simple solutions end up backfiring, Mexico was never going to pay for that wall, for instance.

Far-right ideology is the only possible solution and will force third world trash from our land. That's why a form of National Socialism has swept across the Western world in the last few years. We have had enough of creatures who rape our children and bomb innocent people as in Manchester Arena attack.

Can you give any examples of what you're talking about? Because I can't make heads or tails of it.
Viktor Orban's family-friendly policies have resulted in the Hungarian birthrate being the highest in Europe, the highest in Hungary in decades, and divorce has been dramatically reduced.
Italy's anti-EU coalition government is already starting to deport the migrants. That's a bit more than finger-pointing, my friend!
I could go on.

It's been called White Panic. White birthrates are at historic lows so in many Western countries whites are slowly-but-surely losing their majorities. A lot of Whites are very upset about this (personally it doesn't bother me). Nobody can think of a solution that isn't overtly racist or illegal under their own country's constitution, so they are lining up behind right-wing extremists, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, etc. Even though, at some level, they must realized that there's no way they can win, no way they can keep their country lily-white.

And you think the left is the high ground? Guess again.
