I am not quite sure where you are getting your misinformation from, but listen to yourself....
you sound so ignorant. Americans do eat soy beans.

And the basis of your question is? Since soy, made from soy beans, is one of the most common additives to food these days it is hard to find someone who does not eat, in one way or another, products made from soy beans. In fact in the western world which obviously includes the US they actually consume more soy than they do in Asia.

You can find them in nearly every convenience or grocery store. That tells me they're quite popular. Also farmers use soybean plants to help rotate crops. If you go duck hunting, soybean is pretty much all you see while hiking it to the ponds/sloughs..
