Our foes. Alligators are already cunning hunters as is. Armed with increased brain power, they'd no doubt be plotting our demise.

They would be demanding reparations for their ancestors who were made into luggage, shoes and belts for the man.

Alligators can be pretty tame when raised in captivity. Even in nature they seldom attack people. Most people who are bitten tried to pick one up in the wild. It is true that some people have been killed while swimming, but that is still pretty rare.

Animals in the wild tend to be dangerous if they are threatened. Elephants are among the most intelligent animals in the wild but they can be dangerous if they are threatened.

Friends obviously because they would have human intelligence? There's a reason were not all hunting raw meat to eat and having random sex in the street in breeding season

Foe. We would still be hunting them for their hide and meat.

That depends if you’re carrying a raw chicken or not.
