Honestly, not being able to sleep is caused by many things, is it worse, just last week scientists proved that lack of sleeping causes heart diseases and breakdown, You can go a while without being able to eat, but eventually die if continously, same with not being able to sleep. Sleep is something that is harder to recover outwards to appetite. Sleeping causes cells to heal and energy, while eating gives you fuel. So therefore sleeping is something that takes lots of time. So every day you sleep is valuable and precious. Brain damage is caused even by not sleeping.
