If we had a popular vote system instead of a electoral college then would the result have been the same.?

    I assume you are asking about the US presidential election in 2016.

    As the actual total number of votes cast put Trump second, obviously the result would not have been the same if the same people had voted the same way. But the fact of having a different electoral system might itself have affected how many people voted and who they voted for. So nobody can say for certain.

      You can't have a coalition government in the USA. The government is determined by who is elected president. Coalitions only happen in parliamentary systems.

    No. Gore would have won in 2000. Then either he would have been President for 9/11 or 9/11 wouldn't have happened. After that, I have no idea.

    No. And if ... IF ... if, the biggest word in the English language ... IF flies had machine guns, bull frogs wouldn't mess with them. But flies don't have machine guns, so who cares.
