The US military was not defeated in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, or Iraq.

    1. Korea was a draw.

    2. We never suffered a military defeat in Vietnam. Vietnam had a negotiated peace and the North violated it once we were OUT.

    3. Afghanistan: Again, no military defeats, same with Iraq.

The US forces in Vietnam did their jobs. Men and women who served deserve respect. No military defeats. The clowns in Washington did not do their jobs correctly. I am sure that WWII veteran if alive, Korean, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan vets have done their jobs with pride and honor.

The US is not in Iran and has no intention of invading. However if Iran attacks us they will feel it. The US will not invade Venezuela - the people can make their own self determination but may need arms to overthrow an unelected government. The US was not defeated in Korea. Google night time maps of North and South Korea. We are still at war with North Korea until Kim decides to join the world.

The US sure hadn't achieved any political goal in Korea.

Yes ... very soon. You should quickly join the Venezuelan Army so you can be part of the victory parade. Quickly now! Get a move on!

US didn't get defeated in Iraq. We pulled out because of overwhelming pressure to do so. Things were under control when we were there and when we left so quickly it created a vacuum and allowed ISIS to come in. If we would have stayed a little longer and pulled out slowly as any transition of power should be then things would not have gotten so bad. Instead we caved to pressure and made a rapid exit and undid any progress we had made there. And to answer your question no. We would squash Iran like a bug. But hopefully it doesn't come to that.

I didn't support the war in Iraq by the way. We should have never went there, but having gone there and taken over we should have made a better more strategic exit.

I certainly hope we don't get involved in a war with Iran. Unlike the Iraqi military, the Iranian military is actually well equipped and is nearly 4 times as large as Iraq's was. The Iranian war quagmire will make the Iraqi war look like fun times.

In Venezuela!? The US military could destroy the Venezuela army on its lunch break!

Iran is considerably more dangerous. But no, it cannot defeat the US military.
