With lots of exercise and some dieting, is it ok to loose 4 lbs in 2 weeks?

    Yeah and there's nothing wrong with that exercise and diet together play a major role in losing weight.

    Yes. Losing 2 lbs per week is actually a conservative number.

    If that's how much your body loses in two weeks, it is. And exercise doesn't cause much weight loss. Weight loss is 80% about what we eat, 20% about exercise.

    What do you mean by "okay?" Sure it is okay. It is fairly normal for people who start a diet and exercise program to lose a few pounds in the first week or two. Some of that is fat and some of that is retained water and waste. Some people can lose two pounds a week on a sustained basis.

    Yeah. 1-2 pounds a week is considered a safe amount. Kelvin is right on this one!
