I use an APC USP (Uninterrupted Power Supply) It regulates the power, during brown outs it boosts power, and protects from Surges.

I had one pop during a Thunder Storm strike, and of course during power outs it allows for an orderly shut down. Mine is large enough to handle two monitors, Laser Printer and the CPU (computer).

You can read the voltage information on the side of the Power Supply.

It's usually recommended to buy a good quality Power Supply when building a new computer, hard drives and ssds don't use much power though.
