was born and have lived in?

When your birthplace and your present address are the same and you have never lived in any other place, what would be idiomatic ways of English to say that?

I was born and have lived in Kyoto.

I supposed this was a good way, but could not find many sentences like this on the Net.

Update:

"idiomatic ways to say that in English" is correct?

Sorry for my awkward English, for I am a learner.

"I was born and bred in Yorkshire" is close to what you are after maybe.

    I would say,

"I have lived in Kyoto for my entire life."
