Cooks job in assistant living, company says weekends and holidays required as business dictates?!? What's does that mean?!? Thanks?

It means you will be working a lot of weekends and holidays
Cooks in assisted living are needed 7 days a week, so at best you would be on a rotating basis with other cooks. Some rotate every other weekend others you may only get 1 weekend in four off.

You have to work wherever they want, including Saturday, Sunday, or holidays, if they want, but you can't work when you want, only when they want.

It means if you get a weekend or holiday off, it will be rare and not to expect it. You work when they need you. Period. If anyone gets off, it will be those with seniority.
