How long should I leave the dandelions on my lawn? Will the bees be done with them after they turn to fluff and propagate?

the bees are done with them when they are finished blooming. Do NOT allow them to fluff and reseed.

It seems to me that my neighbours and the public spaces provide sufficient dandelions for the bees and so I keep my little postage stamp free of them by digging when they appear.

I just leave them, they are attractive in bloom. After seeding, you can cut the lawn.

The bees have done their job when they go to seed.

Sometimes they do a bumper blooming, ones in my yard are on their second bloom, they seem to regrow just fine after cutting.
