"worth it" implies a value. Suicide is the most selfish act any person can commit. That being said, most of the people who do commit that act were and are angry, ill, feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, confused, hurting and need help to fight back on these temporary emotions. I don't think suicide for spite is very common. I know they lose site of loved ones, they think nobody cares, life is not easy but if more people were honest about their struggles and made active changes towards improvement then we would see a decrease in these acts. I always tell my kids, "help me help you!" Tell me how you feel, what you want or need, what are you going through.
