What’s your favorite supermarket to shop at?

Vons? Ralph’s? Albertsons? Trader Joe’s? Sprouts? Walmart? Aldi? Whole Foods? Tesco? Food 4 Less? Costco? Target? I can’t think of any more lol

As you are obviously not British, any answer I give won't mean anything to you.

Probably it is Ralph's, just 1.2 miles to home.

But I shop at more than a dozen markets.

-- Superior Grocers, 0.4 miles, made in store pastries for $0.50 ea..

-- Green Farm Market, 0.8 miles, Asian, best seafood.

-- Northgate Market, 1.5 miles, made in store burrito grande tortillas.

-- Aldi, 1.8 miles, cheapest milk/cream, good bread and rolls.

-- El Super Market, 1.9 miles, usually cheapest fresh vegetables.

    -- Vons/Albertsons (merged), 3 stores 2.0 to 2.6 miles, good sales.

-- Smart and Final, two stores each 2 miles from home, on sales.

-- Sprouts, 3.3 miles, good vegetables.

-- Costco, 3.3 miles, bulk foods, meat.

-- Alpine Market, 6.1 miles away but is fabulous German Deli -- kielbasa, wieners, fresh sauerkraut.....

Trader Joe’s gets most of my grocery money, I live alone so take advantage of their prepared food a lot. Many of my staples come from there.

Then New Leaf and Staff of Life, they are similar to Whole Foods but smaller and better.

Whole Foods is better than most of the other big chain stores.

Aldi's for the basics, Tony's for the produce. Jewel (what Albertsons is in Chicagoland) for quick last minute stuff (it's at the end of my street).

Stater Brother's ...mostly for the people watching. There's a guy that walks up and down the pasta isle yelling and never buys anything. I just know he is going to kill us all someday.
