Is it okay for finger touches the outside rim of a toothpaste tube?

So last night I opened the toothpaste tube to brush my teeth. As I was opening it my finger touched the outside rim of the tube. After that happened I didn't brush my teeth because I was worried that there will be germs and bacteria on the outside rim of the toothpaste and when I brush my teeth the germs and bacteria will in my mouth. So am I safe to brush my teeth? This incident will not cause any oral hygiene issues in my mouth?

What do you think is in your mouth? That's right - bacteria and germs. You're obsessing over nothing.

You need to tell your psychiatrist about that. They can help you understand germs a little better.
