The vast majority of community college students work. Just a tad over 80% of all college students, and around 90% for CC students. So it's surprising that you have not been one of them, and paying for school and saving up to get your own place or to continue to university.
If you plan to continue with bachelor's degree program, where are you applying? You'll be moving into dorms there? Best option.
If you are in terminal vocational program, how long until you graduate? Better to finish up, get a job, then a place to live. Apartments are very expensive. Add utilities. Remember you need furniture, furnishings, everything to set up & maintain your apartment. Note that part-time jobs typically are nowhere near enough income to pay for an apartment, and often not even renting a furnished room. At least, not if you want to eat.
