We work together as one, as Jesus said we must do. Our unity comes from Jehovah who gives us his spirit. It does not matter where we live or what we look like, or what language we speak. If we are Jehovah's witnesses, we belong to Jehovah, not any man. Those who are elders or who take the lead are not leaders, because they have to obey Jesus too, and have to answer to him for what they do. We are not perfect, but these are our goals and our teaching, and when “exert ourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door" as Jesus said, to do this, we find ourselves blessed and flourishing as a worldwide Christian congregation. Luke 13:24
20 “I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word, 21 so that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one.
4 Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, appeal to you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all humility and mildness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, 3 earnestly endeavoring to maintain the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. 4 One body there is, and one spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
1 Corinthians 1:10
10 Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you should all speak in agreement and that there should be no divisions among you, but that you may be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.
17 Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive, for they are keeping watch over you as those who will render an account, so that they may do this with joy and not with sighing, for this would be damaging to you.
If anyone thinks that this is wrong and cult-like, and that there are dictionaries and books that say that bad religions do this, then I question that man-made definition. I believe Jesus and the Bible, and we define ourselves according to what is stated by Jesus and the Bible.
Neither be called leaders, for your Leader is one, the Christ.
