The third world commences with Donald Trump's pledge for the greatest America, an objective to be achieved through economic dominance of the world. This is not to say that world, the west, Russia, the Orient, especially China, all were not already set to battle their respective rivals, and the whole world was not delicately poised upon the fulcrum of mere balance in the name of peace. What Trump has done is quite decidedly pulled the world, America first, out of the possibility of conventional armed conflict - much brutal and wasteful, I admit - and into the reality of economic warfare - apparently less bloody but much more debilitating and effective.
The first strategic move was to deal with the North Korean affair. And the second, to declare allegiance with Israel, win the support and confidence of Saudi Arabia – through lucrative weapons contracts, and get set against Iran, Syria and Russian block. Then, it is to cope with or to curb the advance of China along with it many faceted silk-road battlefronts.
Trade wars hit every person, where all people who have anything to with money is a soldier and anyone can be a victim. The trade wars are not fought at the far-flung borders, by professional soldiers. Trade ware are fought by all people, at the level of high streets, local businesses, cafes, restaurants, and banks. The third world war is well in progress. It is just that the scratch-line has to be drawn well inside the social life of common people.
