Full name for Xander?

I love the name Xander, but I'm not crazy about it as a full name. I'm also not a fan of Alexander. Are there any other namee that could be a full name for Xander?? I doubt it, but I just thought I'd try!

Might look odd, but you could try a twist on these two

Possibly "from the Levant (eastern Mediterranean)

    Source fr. Greek. "Liberator."

Otherwise, Xander is recognized as a full name even if it was originally a nn for Alexander.

I think Xander would be fine as a full name.

Not Xander, no. Sander is short for Lysander, but I can't think of a longer version of Xander.

You could use Alexandros, as that is the original, and then call him Xandros

The name Alexander is comprised of two words: Ander/Andros (man) and Alex(...) meaning protector or defender.

Alexander, originally from the Greek Ἀλέξανδρος (Aléxandros), from αλέξειν aléxein meaning "to ward off, keep off, turn away, defend, protect" and ἀνδρός andrós, genitive of ἀνήρ anḗr meaning "man". Meaning. "Defender, protector of man".
