Why does mayweather think his last exhibition fight against McGregor was legitimate?
Hes 50-0 officially but his final fight was a spectacle against a wrestler, so his real record is 49-0, do you agree?

I agree, that fight was a joke. McGregor managed to get a boxing license without any professional or amateur fights as a legitimate boxer. It was just scheduled so he and Mayweather can make a lot of money.
Nothing is wrong with that but fight the best in your weight class. He should have fought Connor in a celebrity boxing match and donated to charity afterwards.

At the time McGregor had a professional boxing license. So therefore it was a legitimate pro boxing match.
That does not take away the fact the fight was a total miss match in favour of mayweather and was only made to make huge amounts of money though.

Not like Mayweather's record matters, his entire career was cherry picking guys who were either too green or over the hill and dodging any real challenges because without the 'undefeated streak' he had no draw. Nobody cares about professional boxing because of Mayweather, all he did was jab, run around and hug winning majority of his cherry picked fights by decision. What a joke that this guy is considered 'the greatest of all time'.

but it was not an exhibition fight. it was a professional boxing match sponsored by the world boxing council.

100%.
He's 49-0 in my books too.
He should actually be 48-1 but that's another conversation entirely.
