I can't say that millennials lack anything. I feel like because of how the world is now its kind of hard to maneuver and because the older generation didn't grow up or have any part of their youth in a time like this, so it's hard for them to understand.
Like for example, the government are and have been cutting things left and right, income and taxes are high, the pay is low, finding a job is difficult even if you did go to school. I was talking about this with my mom a few weeks ago, and even the difference in our gym classes when we were in elementary and high school is major.
yes, it's true you have some millennials who just don't care and are entitled, but a lot maybe even the majority are not like that. A lot of people are struggling. Most millennials can't even afford to move out of their parents home. And how could you when things are like this? Who has that kind of money after going to school? Who is paying them that kind of money? Just look on rental listings and you'll see they are asking for 1k+ just for the rent alone, add on the deposit fee and new bills. And also add on bills and things they might already be paying for like gas for their car, some might have monthly payments for their car, food, cellphone etc.
I don't know, correct me if I am wrong. I am technically not a millennial (born in 97) but this is just how I see it. I can go on forever about this topic.
ps: don't judge my grammar and sentence structure its 4 AM...
