    "Bye Bye Bird" -orig. Sonny Boy Williamson II and Willie Dixon- from the album 'The Magnificent Moodys' ('65).

    When they actually played something resembling blues, I'd have to go with "Go Now"

      Even though that was just a cover of the song. Written by Larry Banks & Milton Bennett, it was 1st recorded by Bessie Banks in Jan. '64. The Moody Blues did their version in Nov. '64. The vocal was by Denny Laine. He quit the band in Oct. '66, replaced by Justin Hayward.
