What aspect of liberalism teaches people that "politics is life"?

What particular tenant of liberalism convinces its victims that life is all about politics?

Update:

@Anonymous

Most people on all sides don't worship Trump, bro.

Update 2:

@American Capitalist

"unless politics is your career, you shouldn’t devote all of your life to it."

I think everyone needs to know this.
