Can an American enter the schengen zone twice with a month?

I'm going to Spain for a week, then the UK, and then France

The best part about forming the EU is that there are no more border controls. Traveling around Europe is just like traveling around the states. There's a sign that says, Entering France and that's about it.....

US citizens can be in the Schengen area for up to 90 days per 180 days. You can come and go all you wish as long as you don't exceed the 90 day limit. Note the UK is not part of the Schengen area.
