I'd pray to god that once he slows down, he turns to the nearest "youth", takes off what I can only assume are a rad pair of neon green sunglasses, and says "What's up fellow kids"

I would feel good about him being more talented than most kids....

I read a report filed by the US Coast Guard that answers this question.
That Federal Directorate wanted to know what common habits were
evident within existing service personnel. So recruiters could decide
who would better fit into the mission services that are available. Did
you know most serving personnel volunteered to learn new things that
did not include jumping out of aircraft or ships at sea? A job that only
volunteers do. To save human life and property. Non-quitters because
there's a rule they have to go out when called upon. There is no USCG
rule they will all return. What makes that kind of person? It was found
that virtually all rescue swimmers shared skateboard interests when
off-duty, A self-taught skill that has enough self-punishment to cull all
quitters Skateboarding improves the breed called Rescue Swimmers.
Sign up to do all kinds of jobs on land or open water. Odds are you
as a volunteer for hazardous duty will then be selected. Because it
is your nature to go in harm's way, At 40 years old, also.

I witnessed a guy barrelling down a hill on his skateboard and guess what happened? He came off and hit a light pole. I would expect a man at 40 to be mature enough to not want to risk life and limb. I would have no sympathy if he injured or killed himself.
