Do I have to visit my wife’s family if they bore me?

They’re possibly the least charming people I’ve ever met. A day with them feels like years.

yes. it's an obligation you took on when you married your wife. if you don't want to see your in-laws, consider divorce.

Do they feel the same about you? Perhaps they have hidden interest.

I broke up with someone who had a boring family. I figured the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Yes. We all have to do things for our spouse we don't want to do, just as they do for us. Two way street.

You can talk to your wife about it. You don't have to if you don't want to, but it depends on your relationship and agreements you have or had with your wife.
