Yes. About 3 years, in the spring. Dont change in middle of a freeze. AF only lasts so long, can even corrode parts if too old. Can pick up contaminants, too, from cooling system, these can clog radiator/heater core, and cooling ports in head.
I flush/change all fluids in every "new" used car I get. Don't trust previous owners unless they have shop receipts. I check my coolant every so often with one of those hydrometers to make sure it isn't getting too diluted when I have to add water (Use distilled, only, 89 cents).
