Would it really bring down the global economy if English-speaking Dutch people forgot how to speak Dutch?

Like Dutch being able to speak Dutch how high is this on the list of economic world progress in commerce and universal reckoning,

Or say that aliens on alpha Centauri learn to speak Dutch

Bring down the economy? probably not, but it would seriously reduce their freedom to express their opinions, as well as their sense of belonging to the Dutch ethnicity.

and part of the economic strength of the Netherlands is due to our willingness to learn other languages. Half of our export goes to Germany, half of our imports come from Germany. Netherlands is the third biggest exporter of agricultural products
