It sort of goes like this...

planet < solar system < galaxy < cluster < super cluster

Between clusters and inside them, mostly just rock and ice flying around. The term "outer space" usually just means outside of the earth's atmosphere.

Space is everywhere that Earth isn't

Sprinkled with the Occasional Heavenly body

Such as Stars, Planets, moons, Asteroids, Comets, Nebulae Dust Clouds and Gas Clouds

Sound doesn't travel in Space but Light and Radiation does

Inner space is filled with space and outer space is then filled with non-space. what is the non-space then.

Outer space is in the universe

  • That's like asking "when is history?". Maybe you are overprocessing, or just focussing on the wrong things. I'd suggest starting with the difference between meteors and comets, stars and planets, etc.

Outer space starts at 100 kilometers elevation or 62. 127 miles. That you cannot pro ESS it because of willful ignorance or stupidity or spatial cognition disabilities is totally irrelevant.

Willful ignorance/stupidity is usually very expensive and can be VERY FATAL. Please do not have children.

Outer space is simply the term used for anything outside our solar system.

The Solar System is not in outer space. The Solar System is in the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Milky Way Galaxy is in the Universe. And that is as far as you go.
