Today, it is easy to complicate our lives with many things. Time and energy are required to shop for, pay for, use, maintain, and safeguard possessions. Also there are sound ways going about helping others. Jesus lived a simple life so that material possessions would not needlessly pull him away from his ministry.—Matthew 8:20.
How could you simplify your life so that you can do more in the ministry, in your life, or help to others in general?
Acts 20:35 reads, that there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving. Increasing one’s spiritual awareness by seeking out for God, enjoying and meditating on his wondrous works of creation helps one draw close to him. Doing so is beneficial for you helping you find the answers for life’s complicated problems and provide ways to solve or avoid them. Have you gradually allowed material things to complicate your life? A simple life serving Jehovah God (the creator and giver of life) provides a happy, contented life.—1 Timothy 6:7-9.
WE NEED GOOD DIRECTION
“I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself, the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”—Isaiah 48:17, 18
So whenever you get the opportunity, write down ways that you can simplify your life. Then filter out the unnecessary things so that you can clear your schedule creating more time to focus on the more important things in life!
Best to you!
