Never mind all of those people saying, "no it's not dangerous, because they evaporate away quickly", because that's the wrong answer. The right answer is "no it's not dangerous, because it's impossible for them to produce them"!
In order for even the tiniest black hole to form, the LHC needs 1 quadrillion times more energy than it has now. The LHC produces 13 TeV (tera-electron-volts) of energy, that's 13 trillion electron-volts, so that's how much energy it shoots protons around its ring at! That's a lot, but it still needs 1 quadrillion times more than that! Both numbers are so huge, it's beyond our imagination.
The idea that the LHC produces black holes is fake news. It got started by British tabloid newspapers trying to create a sensational story for its readers to worry about, because they know most readers don't know the difference between reality and bullshit, especially when it comes to science. Large numbers are too overwhelming for most readers to check.
