US Army. Our daughter is currently in boot camp. She will graduate on 6/6 She enlisted for 4yrs. Is there anyway to change that to 2yrs.?

    She signed a CONTRACT when she joined and is now legally obligated to complete the terms of the contract she voluntarily signed.

    Attempting to negate that legal contract, will have negative legal consequences for her.

    All contracts are 8 years.at least 4 are active duty. Her job determines how long she must serve

    They don't offer 2 year commitments.

    Nope, a contract is a contract. If she agreed to 4 years active duty, then she's doing 4 years active duty. The only way to get out sooner is if she starts messing up but the down side is she probably won't be getting an honorable discharge.

    Your daughter made this decision and she is only in boot camp. Let her live with her decisions.
