For video editing? Possibly not, but it's likely most of your video editing horsepower is coming from your CPU rather than your GPU. It really depends on which video editing software you're using. If you're using the simple ones like the default Photo Editor of Windows, then it's likely not using a lot of GPU features, and it's mostly using the CPU. If you're using something more professional like Adobe, or Ulead, etc. then it's probably using more GPU features, and you may require a GPU upgrade.
