Chimichanga is deep fried. Burrito is not.

Either can have any filling, sauce or no sauce. Beware of frozen 12-for-$3 "chimichangas". They arent truly deep -fried, just cheese/sauce/beef and no beans.

A burrito is a flour tortilla wrapped around filling, with the ends closed. ... A chimichanga is a deep-fried burrito.
