Do you mean orange? I have heard them called yellow before, the lighter orange colored ones.
And it's ok, I suppose, but looks aren't everything in a cat. You might get one you think is cute and it simply doesn't get along with you and hates your home. I mean, I'm not particularly partial to grey or brown tabbies, but my youngest one is a grey tabby and I can't imagine life without him. But I didn't go in for looks, I went in adopting looking for 1. An older kitten, 2. One that got along with other cats and 3. One that got along with people.
