I could, yes, because I did so for about 30 years, up to about 1995, when I first got it.
But I suspect services that I want couldn't manage without it now. Things like hospitals, doctors, supermarkets (& perhaps most shops), banks & other financial institutions, the police, local government, much of the local media - & probably just about everything depends totally on the internet these day. Cripple the internet & you'd probably cripple many (so called) 'developed' countries' economies in a few days!
Sure I'd miss the internet if it disappeared. I've got used to Facebook, Google, emails, Youtube & mobile phones to the point that they're a big part of my life now. But I think I'd adjust back to life without them pretty quickly. In fact I might even be happier with the internet gone. But the rest of the world communication infrastructure today would collapse without it - & THAT'S something I'd have trouble with!
