What would you do in this situation?

I adopted a small lizard from someone that couldn't care for him anymore. His back legs were both broken and healed with the bones not connected. He doesn't flinch when you feel his bones, can still walk/run/climb and is very lively. When I took him to the vet, the vet only commented on deworming him and didnt say anything about his legs even though that was my reason for taking him.

Do I just let him be since he doesn't seem to be hurting? Should I find another vet?
