A .45acp is SAAMI spec'ed at 21,000 psi, which I think is in the neighborhood of what Buffalo Bore and Corbon are doing with their .45lc +P - though as others have said, +P is not a standard designation from SAAMI for that round, it get tacked onto any .45lc round that is loaded above 14,000 psi.
That being said, will it blow up the gun? Probably not. Will it wear out the gun faster? Definitely. Will it give you better performance? Not very likely. 45's (both the lc and acp) are heavy, wide bullets, they do just fine without those extra few hundred ft/s, and more conventional factory ammo for them is both more available and cheaper.
