Are we in the range of a supernova type IA or anything similar?
I’ve read there’s a supernova type IA 155 light years away are we in its range for it to hurt us? What is there range? Are there any other candidates near us that could affect us and is there anything similar like quasars that could hurt us?

Anything farther than about 30 light years won't hurt us.

No. The next closest star is 4 light years away and it is even too far away to effect life on earth.

If we can see a supernova, it has already occurred.
We have no way of knowing when another one will occur or where.
