Is getting an abortion a social norm that is culturally universal or is it a norm that varies across cultures?

    Abortion didn't become a social norm until "poverty" became a social norm.

    There is no such thing as a cultural universal. If there is any possible way to behave that isn't immediately detrimental to group survival, humans have tried it.

    no, the murder of babies is not and never will be a social norm...across all cultures and nations...murder is murder..

    Seriously? The shrieks can be heard from space in the USA, whereas in say, ancient Rome it was praised to the point of putting it on coins.

    It varies across cultures. Not all cultures of the world are as morally impoverished as is the west.
